ReadyForGP is an independent study tool for doctors preparing for GP training selection in Ireland. It offers practice questions, timed mocks, interview scenarios and revision notes.
Not affiliated with the ICGP
ReadyForGP is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Irish College of General Practitioners (ICGP). We mention the ICGP, the SJT and the CPST only to describe the selection process.
For official information about the tests, dates and eligibility, always check the ICGP’s own guidance.
For study, not clinical care
Questions, explanations and notes are for exam practice. They aren’t medical advice and mustn’t be used to make decisions about real patients. In practice, follow current national guidelines and your local policies.
Accuracy
Guidelines change and content can contain errors. Check anything important against current guidance, and tell us if you spot a mistake.
Your account
- An account is for one person. Keep your login details to yourself.
- We may suspend accounts that share access or misuse the service.
- You can stop using ReadyForGP at any time.
- How we handle your data is explained in our privacy notice.
Cost
ReadyForGP is free. Everything in it is open to anyone with an account, and we never ask for payment details.
